Treasure Hunt Canada

So it really is hit & miss. Some stuff was a great deal others not so much. My only real beef is the they have returned items & if they were new 100$ they will take of 50% which is fine but you could have 2 of the same product & one looks almost new & the other looks 5 yrs old & they sell them both at 50% off. There was no reduction for the more worn/broken item. I thought wasnt really fair but they said it was the luck of the draw kind of deal. Anyways...

Its a GREAT store, ecspecially for gifts. You can pretty much do most of your Christmas shopping here and get it at anywhere from 40-90%off. However, after my last trip last week i noticed how my bill totaled about $22 before tax.... after tax it came to about $32.50.....? Is it be cause its a discount store, maybe were taxed at the full value of the items ,i dunno....but being taxed at 50% is kinda crazy ain't it? Make that make sense...

Surprisely this store had great items. I went in to buy one thing and ended up wanting to buy everything. The store is pretty big but the prices were great. I saw nice dishes, pots and pans. Furniture, bikes and household goods. There were many other items available. I ended up buying a whole bunch of cranberry juice. They had a lot of dry food items that were really cheap. They also had items for children like toys and clothes for very low prices. They also had discounted bikes some under $50.00. The big stores like value village and mission thrift are about the same size with very little new inventory but this store has much better prices and more new products. I am a book collector and they had awesome books available. Famous well known authors for sometimes $1. Wow that's a great deal. Although the book section is fairly small they have a number of really good books. I must admit I almost didn't go into this store as I have found that most liquidation centres tend to be terrible with high prices. This place was great with low prices. There were many items I would have loved to buy.

Treasure Hunt is a good place to look for cheap products although make sure is if it electrical you test them at the back of the store at the testing area. If it has many pieces, always make sure they are all there. This store works off of other stores refunds, damaged products, and left over stock. This means that sometimes you just luck out and get something great for a good price, or you get it home and realize it is really just garbage. The shelves are a disarray of products, and nothing really is displayed like in a traditional store, but it is clean. For the shopper who is careful, and takes the time to go through everything for accuracy it is a great place to shop. If you are looking for the perfect gift I would go somewhere else so the recipient isn't disappointed or think you got it at a garage sale.
